February 7, 2009

Steve was released from the hospital on Friday 2/6 after 4 days of intensive chemo. He is very weak and tired but holding his own. He met with a doctor from OSHU on Friday regarding future stem cell transplant. All of this is part of normal treatment.

He should be at home for the next couple of weeks before the next round of chemo. If you want to visit, call first because he is so tired. Keep the good thoughts coming.

  1. Hi Steve,
You sure sounded good on the phone today, you seem alot stronger than you did on Sunday. It was great to here that you played your guitar for an hour, I'll bet that was fun for you since it's been such a long...long...long time.I can't wait for those camping campfire singalongs even though I don't sing and Sue got kicked out of choir!!! Anyway, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
    Love Mark

  3. Hey Steve,
Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you and hope that you're regaining your strength and feeling better every day. We miss you over here and can't wait to have you back. Looking forward to some camping this summer and am very happy to hear that you might break out the guitar!
