Good news. Steve will have another 2 week reprieve from chemo to allow time to rest AND the doctor said that he is half-way through his treatment. He is feeling pretty good about that and he knows he can handle the second half of treatment.
Hey bro! I miss you a lot and I really hope you are feeling ok. Dad has been trying to keep me updated on how you are doing. I love you and hope to see you as soon as I can or when you are up to spending a few minutes with me.
Steve dear -- Betty and Mow here -- thinking of you and holding you up to the Good Lord in prayer to keep you strong and smiling and believing that all will be well ~~ and it WILL be, honey! We love you much as ever and that's a bunch! DO hope we can get to Oregon this Summer and have a good long visit with you! Our e-mail is jestkids@yahoo.com, Steve. Do you have one? Have a special forward I'd like to send you if you do. Don't make a habit of sending forwards, but this one I think you'd like. Love, Betty and Mr. Mow
Steve - My name is Kelly Butner and I am Tom Butner from Hardwood Ind. wife. Tom wanted me to write and tell you he just found out about you last week and he is mad he didn't know sooner. He said you are one of the good guys! We wanted you to know my daughter was diagnosed with AML in 1999 when she was 12-years-old and had a 6/6 matched bone marrow transplant from her biological father and is now a health happy 22-year-old. She fought hard and we all fought along side her. She never gave up and never lost her positive attitude and that along with a loving community, wonderful doctors, supportive friends and a great family is why she made it. (believe it or not Tom was my rock, he was the best) So, we wanted to tell you to keep up a positive attitude and kick this cancers butt! We are sending positive thoughts your way.
